Activities
At Sorelle Horses, everything we do is built around one principle: raising stronger, healthier horses through a natural and thoughtful approach. Our activities combine breeding, land management, and daily care into one integrated system; where each element supports the other.
Horse Breeding
We focus on breeding high-quality showjumping horses with exceptional pedigrees from leading European studbooks. Our mares are carefully selected for their proven bloodlines, performance, and character; creating a strong genetic foundation for future sport horses.
Natural Development
Our horses are raised in the hills of Abruzzo, where daily movement across varied terrain naturally develops:
- Strength
- Balance
- Coordination
- Endurance
This environment allows foals and young horses to grow into athletic, resilient individuals without forced training.
Manure Analysis
We apply a targeted approach to parasite control by regularly checking manure samples for worms. This allows us to treat only when necessary, avoiding overuse of deworming products while maintaining optimal health.
Pasture Management
We have developed our own pasture mix of grasses, luzerne, and herbs, designed for:
- Optimal nutrition
- Digestive support
- Resistance to heat and dry conditions
By investing in both pasture and soil quality, we create a sustainable foundation for long-term horse health.
Regenerative Farming
Our farm operates with a regenerative mindset. Through rotational grazing and natural soil management, we continuously improve:
- Soil health
- Biodiversity
- Water retention
- Overall ecosystem balance
This approach benefits both the land and the horses that depend on it.
Regional Excellence
Located in Bisenti, in the Abruzzo region of Italy, our farm combines natural conditions with a clear vision.
We aim to contribute to the region by setting a standard in:
- Horse breeding
- Land stewardship
- Sustainable farming practices
A Connected System
At Sorelle Horses, these activities are not separate. They work together. Better land creates better nutrition. Better nutrition supports stronger horses. Stronger horses reflect the quality of their environment.
